A Journey through Opera
On Saturday, 12 August 2006, Natalie and Chiew Hui
presented
a repertoire of operatic arias in the Library@Esplanade.
It was a full turnout, much to their relief.
Arias* from operas written by WA Mozart,
G Bizet, G Puccini and D Moore
were sung by Natalie, a soprano, throughout the 45-minute recital,
accompanied on the piano by Chiew Hui.
(* Arias are solo songs found in vocal works such as operas. They are usually very lyrical and filled with intense emotions.)
