I have always wanted to learn piano since
young but circumstances then did not allow me to do so.
When I finally reached financial
independence, I was too embarrassed to sign up for lessons in a
school. I happened to chance upon Chiew Hui's website one day while
"attempting to take up online piano lessons" I could still
remember my 1st lesson with Chiew Hui in July 04. My fingers were
trembling non-stop while hitting on the keys. But
she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I discussed my objectives
with her and she tailored the lessons according to my needs. She
even went shopping for a piano with me.
It has been almost 4 years since I started
piano. I am very happy with my grade 3 achievement so far. I never
knew that anyone can learn piano regardless of your age,
but I believe the teacher plays a very important role in ensuring
your success.
Other than a 6-month break in 2005/6 when
my daughter was born, I do not think I will stop taking lessons from
Chiew Hui as it (taking lessons) has become part of my life.
I am looking forward to the day when I
can take my daughter for lessons together, as I strongly believe she
will benefit greatly from Chiew Hui, like what her mother did.
